The September D5 meeting was called to order at 1:37 by vice president Gretchen Eick, who then introduced the speaker.
The program was presented by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel, the author of several official fandom-based cookbooks. She told attendees about how she started writing the cookbooks, her process for creating the recipes, and her journey with publishing. Following her presentation, she answered questions that included showing off the blog that was the beginning of her journey.
Following the presentation, attendees were given a chance to discuss what sort of niche each one could write about. The meeting was adjourned at 3:10.
