It is time for District 5 folks to get serious about fundraising for the 2019 KAC State Convention, "Hook 'Em and Book 'Em." Attached are some useful forms to help you collect your thoughts and ease your presentations to potential donors. Look over the marketing tips and begin organizing your sales calls.
When you have made a successful contact, the donation purpose and amount should be written on the form along with contact information, and the form(s) and money are to be mailed to KAC Convention, c/o Connie White. at 5224 W. Elm, Unit 302, Wichita, KS 67212 Connie will mail out the receipt for the specified donation (KAC is a 501-C3 organization and donations are tax deductible. )
When you have chosen a type of business or donor to target, please advise Connie, and feel free to work together with someone in making the contacts, if that is your choice. We simply are wanting to avoid duplicate contacts if possible. Some categories of contacts might be: medical offices, hospitals, small town libraries, auto dealerships, attorneys, fast food places, restaurants, pet stores, animal groomers - the list is endless. Use your imagination.
Don't fear rejection. Start presenting the highest donations first, and working your way down the list. At the very least, you should get positive responses to the $25 business card ads. (These will be arranged onto placemats which will be used at Claire Vanderpool's luncheon and also at the awards Banquet Saturday evening.)
