Author and Kansas Authors Club presenter, Katie Weibe, passed away October 23, 2016 at the age of 92.
Named an Associate Professor at Tabor College in 1981, Katie Weibe was also an author, biographer, editor, columnist, essayist, speaker, and historian. In addition to articles, columns, and book reviews, she also wrote books, including her first book, Alone: A Search for Joy, and her last book, How to Write Your Personal and Family History: If you don't do it, who will?, which is scheduled for release in 2017.
A memorial service is planned for January 20, 2017 at Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, 655 South Lorraine Street, in Wichita.
