On June 9, 2018, KAC D5 is happy to welcome former KAC Vice President, Louise Pelzl. She uses the writing name Z. Minor, which is her middle initial and maiden name. The main reason is her unusual last name. She didn't think anyone would ever know how to pronounce it much less spell it.
Writing has been at the top of Louise's to do list (this was before bucket lists were invented) when she reached a milestone birthday. She was always an avid reader, and in fact, her mother once noticed she was watching American Bandstand, feet swung over the arm of the chair were
keeping time to the music, and she was reading a book.
Louise is past Vice President of KAC and past President of KWA. She currently is a member of KWA and WARA Authors and PAWS in Pratt KS. In 2017 she taught a year-long writer program, Exploring The Craft of
Writing, at the Pratt Library.

Pro status was given to any author who had received a reject letter from a publisher. Her writing endeavor started approximately 23 years ago.
