Roll up the dark sky,
tight, like a night shade.
For it is void of stars
and any wishes made.
All the stars fell from the heavens.
Their dusky glow stains the floor.
They litter the room,
they block the door.
Sweep up the stars.
Stack them end on end.
Pile them in the corner
to light my empty den.
