Leah Sewell is a poet, graphic artist and the Topeka Library's communications editor. Her chapbook, Birth in Storm, was the 2012 Emerge Chapbook Competition winner, and her poems have been published in PANK, Midwestern Gothic, burntdistrict, Bear Review and elsewhere. Her full-length collection, Second-Worst Fear, is forthcoming from Woodley Press in Fall 2016. She's the publisher of Microburst, a Kansas zine of political resistance.
Jenny Yang Cropp’s debut poetry collection, String Theory (Mongrel Empire Press, 2015), was an Oklahoma Book Award finalist. Her poems have appeared in Boxcar Poetry Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Ecotone, and other journals. She recently completed a PhD in English at the University of South Dakota and teaches English at Cameron University. (http://www.jennyyangcropp.com) ;
John McDonough is a New England transplant living in Wichita. His work is informed by his lifelong love of baseball, dinosaurs, and B rate science fiction. He graduated from Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont, with a BFA in poetry where he served as assistant editor for Green Mountains Review. He will begin an MFA program this fall in New Hampshire. His list of publications include Green River Review and Basement Medicine.
