Dear Kansas Author Club District 5 Members,
Our very successful and well-appreciated convention in October seems to have re-energized us all. Attendance at both the November and December meetings was encouraging, and the attendees seemed really enthusiastic. So we are off to a roaring good start to this New Year of 2014.
I am looking forward to another exciting and productive twelve months and hope that you will all continue to support your fellow authors by participating in the meetings and activities. Our organization only flourishes when we have a strong and interested membership.
If you are pleased with your success as an author, please consider sharing with the rest of us some hints that will help us; if you feel things are not clicking, please let D5 Vice President Louise Pelzl know what kinds of programs you think might help you to become more successful.
Networking with fellow writers can be inspiring and educational. Come to the meetings and get to know your fellow authors.
If there are things you wish KAC D5 was doing, let me or any of the other board members know. We have taken on our positions because we want to make this organization useful to you in your writing career. Write us, email us, or, even better, collar us at the monthly meetings and let us
know what we can do to improve Kansas Authors Club. We’ll be waiting.
Happy writing!
Roy Beckemeyer, KAC D5 President for 2014
