Our speaker will be Ken Spurgeon, writer, director, teacher of history teaching at the Northfield Friends School and Friends University, and head of Lone Chimney Films. He has made four documentary films since 2007, including Home on the Range, which was shown in 2016 at the Orpheum Theater in Wichita.
Ken will speak on script writing, using his specific experiences with Home on the Range and his other scripts as examples. He will include clips from his productions and respond to questions regarding script writing and the process of moving from writing to production.
Like all KAC programs the public is invited.

Location: Larksfield Place, 7373 E. 29th St. N., Wichita KS 67226. (just west of Rock Road on the south side of 29th Street).
Park in the Visitors Center lot and enter the Welcome Entrance walking left through the dining room.
