Here's an update for participants about the upcoming Writers of the Wheat Literary Festival on July 10th.
Here’s a list of the authors who have been invited and have accepted placement at the Literary Festival:
Book sales are happening now. If you haven’t already dropped your books off at Sunflower Plaza, please do so now. Crissy (MacAffrey-Jackson) McJack is the proprietor and will sell them on a consignment basis for a 25/75 commission. She will pay the Kansas Sales Retail Tax out of her 25%. Tracy advises writers to try to sell as many books as possible under such favorable terms before the consignment ends on July 31, 2015.
Let your friends, followers, fans and family know they can purchase your books at the Sunflower Plaza any time prior to July 31, 2015.
The Sunflower Plaza building will be sold on August 1st, so ALL YOUR BOOKS must be collected by July 31, 2015.
Tracy has received the postcards from VistaPrint. Please contact her by email or phone to make arrangements to pick up the 30 postcards to mail out to let your fans and followers know about event in advance.
All authors who have books in the event, whether you are reading or not, need to provide Tracy with a tagline (no more than 40 words) for the book(s) being promoted at this event. Remember, there is no limit to the amount of books an author can promote at this event.
Please contact Tracy before May 25 by e-mail or telephone at 316-304-5995 to give her your information and make arrangements to pick up your postcards. Any questions or comments can be directed to Tracy as well.
