Life is a mystery. So, come to May’s meeting and discover the mystery genre and what it is all about. Come prepared to have fun and write, as Conrad Jestmore, author of the Jimmy O’Reilly Mystery Series, will lead a discussion of the genre as well as offer writing exercises designed to create your mystery masterpiece from multiple points of view. Please remember to bring paper and something to write with so you can participate in the writing exercises.
Conrad Jestmore has published short stories, poetry and non-fiction in numerous journals and anthologies, and is a Past President of Kansas Writers Association. His three Jimmy O’Reilly Mystery Series novels, River of Murder, Fields of Death, and Snows of Blood are available as e-books from Barnes and Noble and Amazon, and paperback versions are available from Amazon. His poetry chapbook, Roadmap to Hope, is available directly from the author.
He has also collaborated on the musical A Christmas Carol which will play its fifth season at the Forum Theatre in December.
Conrad has earned gainful employment as a welfare case worker in the mountains of northern California, an elevator operator when elevators still had them, a bartender, a paint warehouse stocker, a USO performer and a high school teacher.
He is a Reiki Master and currently teaches Reiki classes and heals both humans and animals in his central Kansas Reiki practice.
We encourage members who bring their books to sell. A table will be available to display the books. Members will be able to answer questions about their books to potential buyers.

Follow sign arrow to the Visitors Center parking.
From the visitors' parking lot enter the Welcome Entrance adjacent to that lot. Turn left at the hallway and walk through the dining room, past the serving bar and into the Lakeview Room.
