Watermark Books is holding a Mini-Challenge to celebrate William Stafford, a Kansas native and United States Poet Laureate for 1970-71.
Steve Maack, a Wichita English teacher, will be discussing Stafford's new collection of poetry, Ask Me: 100 Essential Poems, the evenings of March 18 and 24.
On April 1, Watermark Books will kick off National Poetry Month with a visit from Stafford's son, Kim Stafford, who will discuss his father's poetry and his own memoir, Early Morning.
More information about the Mini-Challenge can be found on the Watermark Books website here.
